Job Description

• Provide spend analysis, opportunity analysis, supplier analysis, market analysis, RFx analysis, and business case support for the Polymers and Direct Materials teams and other internal stakeholders.
• Research and analyze procurement category-related data from various sources, including ERP systems, supplier intelligence platforms, market intelligence tools, and indexes/feedstocks, to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance insights.
• Leverage data-driven insights to support should-cost modeling, unlock structural savings opportunities, enhance decision-making, and maximize savings delivery.
• Identify commercial opportunities and improvement areas within existing supplier and contractual partnerships.
• Work with category leaders to support the development and documentation of category strategies.
• Support weekly and monthly category reporting across defined KPIs.
• Develop an approach to understand internal business strategies and align applicable category strategies accordingly.
• Support monthly Procurement Operations reviews and executive presentations as needed.
• Support category teams with complex commercial models, including vendor-managed inventory, consigned materials, and formula-based pricing arrangements.
• Manage third-party market intelligence and index subscription suppliers and facilitate regular market update sessions between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide ad hoc support for procurement workstreams such as supplier reviews, tendering, and supplier data segmentation.
• Develop and manage measurements of Procurement’s innovation and new product introduction contributions.
