Job Purpose

Direct and execute the corporate Health and Safety strategy at the organizational level, ensuring the implementation of global standards, legal compliance and continuous improvement of performance at all sites, aligned with business objectives and organizational culture. POSITION FUNCTIONS MAIN FUNCTIONS OF SGI-H&S FUNCTIONS OF LEADERSHIP RELATIONS INTERNAL RELATIONS To serve as the champion of safety at production sites in Mexico.

Responsibilities

1. Define and lead the comprehensive Health and Safety strategy aligned with corporate objectives

2. Establish and ensure compliance with strategic KPIs (TRIR, LTIR, culture, audits, etc.).

3. Lead the implementation of corporate standards and global best practices across all sites

4. Ensure compliance with applicable national and international legal regulations.

5. Develop and promote a high-performance organizational safety culture that allows the group to achieve the results in leadership, performance and culture that it has defined globally.

6. Manage relationships with authorities, regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.

7. Approve, manage and optimize the annual H&S budget

8. Validate and ensure the implementation of tools and/or processes that assist in incident investigations as well as the correct implementation of corrective actions. older,

9. Lead, develop and evaluate the H&S team at the organizational level.

10. Training and advice to the entire security, maintenance, and other areas involved in security matters. risk analysis and investigation of accidents and incidents, including external providers that provide services at all sites.

Job Requirements

Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field

Advanced English

5–8 years in Industrial Safety and Health

2-5 years in managerial or similar positions

Experience in personnel management

Skills Required

Mastery of regulations in Safety and Health

ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (lead auditor desirable)
