About This Role

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic General Practitioner / Primary Care Physician in APAC who is fluent in Mandarin and English to support our members through virtual care services.

This role is specifically seeking clinicians based in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, or Singapore who are experienced in delivering high-quality care through digital health platforms and are comfortable supporting a culturally diverse member population.

What You'll Do:  

• Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
• General health and women's health
• Preventive health
• Urinary tract infections, birth control, medications
• Addresses cold, flu, and COVID-19
• Skin disease and rashes, pink eye, and vaccinations
• Allergies
• Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
• Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
• Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

Who You Are: 

• A licensed General Practitioner, Primary Care Physician, or equivalent physician eligible to practice in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to conduct clinical consultations and communicate medical information effectively in both languages.
• Residing in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
• Licensed and in good standing with the applicable medical regulatory authority in your country or jurisdiction.
• Have 3+ years of experience providing primary care and/or telehealth services, with demonstrated comfort delivering care through a digital health platform.
• Comfortable providing care via video consultation and asynchronous messaging.
• Able to provide direct member care for 2 hours per week.
• Passionate about women's health, family health, preventive care, and improving access to high-quality healthcare.
• Demonstrate strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
