Your Role
Design and build backend services in PHP (and TypeScript/Node where it fits), owning features end-to-end from data model to API.
Design asynchronous, event-driven systems and resilient architectures using patterns like message queues, dead-letter queues and retry policies.
Write and optimize non-trivial SQL, multi-table joins, aggregations, CTEs and window functions, with an eye on how queries perform on real data volumes.
Operate services on AWS (ECS, ECR, SQS, SES, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, ElastiCache) including monitoring and observability.
Contribute across the stack where needed, including the TypeScript backend (Express / Node) and touching the Nuxt 3 / Vue 3 frontend.
Your Profile
Solid PHP experience; relevant experience with Laravel or Symfony is equally welcome.
JavaScript / TypeScript (TypeScript preferred). Used across the stack, on the backend (Express / Node) as well as the frontend.
Strong SQL skills beyond the basics: complex joins, aggregations, CTEs and performance-aware querying.
Experience with cloud platforms, AWS ideally
Experience designing asynchronous / event-driven (EDA) systems (dead-letter queues, retry policies, etc.).
