We are seeking a hands-on Software Developer/Engineer with around 4+ years of experience to drive end-to-end delivery - from requirements analysis and estimation through design, implementation, and unit/integration testing - while adhering to established quality processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and is comfortable supporting post-release product issues and complaints. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Jama tools for work planning, tracking, and requirements traceability is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews relevant requirements, standards, and other documentation to clarify and understand software engineering requirements.
- Provides estimates for modules under development and estimates own work.
- Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions (Design Principles, UML)
- Design, develop, and maintain Desktop/Web applications using .NET technologies.
- Work on both front-end and back-end components of the system.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, QA, and DevOps.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Adheres to the software quality process.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
- Use Azure DevOps, Jira, and Jama to plan/track work, manage backlogs, and maintain requirements-to-test traceability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Around 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core and C#.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as WPF, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (Good to have: Angular, React, or similar).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server.
- Experience with unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest), Moq
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work across all phases of the development lifecycle and support post-release issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure & AWS). (Good to have – Azure Cloud Certifications)
- Hands-on experience of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master; Scrum certification is a plus.
