We’re hiring a Foreman - Wash Bay Operations at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The Foreman - Wash Bay Operations is responsible for leading field crews, overseeing projects, managing schedules, interpreting construction plans, coordinating stakeholders, operating heavy equipment, ensuring safety compliance, tracking progress, and traveling extensively across the Gulf Coast region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crews performing wash bay construction, site preparation, grading, and related field operations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and to quality expectations
- Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks
- Read, interpret, and execute work based on civil construction plans, grading plans, and project specifications
- Coordinate daily activities between internal crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to field personnel while maintaining accountability for productivity and safety
- Operate and oversee heavy equipment, including dozers and grading equipment, as needed to support project execution
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Maintain consistent communication with project managers, leadership, vendors, and customers regarding project status, timelines, and resource needs
- Track manpower, equipment utilization, project milestones, and daily progress to ensure successful project completion
- Ensure all work is completed according to EquipmentShare's operational and quality standards
- Travel extensively to project sites throughout the Gulf Coast region

Skills & Qualifications

- Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, scheduling, manpower coordination, and successful on-time project delivery
- Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings, grading plans, and site plans
- Hands-on experience operating dozers and other grading equipment
- Proven leadership experience managing field personnel in fast-paced construction or heavy equipment environments
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong history of managing project schedules and coordinating vendors and subcontractors
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry or in a similar adjacent role
- Previous experience managing field operations, construction crews, or civil/site development projects
- Project Management experience, required
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification, preferred
- First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred
- Experience with Trimble Grade Control Systems or similar GPS machine control technology
- Background in heavy civil construction, earthwork, grading, or site development, required
- Experience managing multiple field projects across different job sites
Physical Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time, including extended overnight assignments in the Gulf Coast region
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and uneven terrain.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment, construction machinery, and active job sites.
- Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedules based on project demands.
