We are seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to join our growing Finance organization and help build the scalable operating foundation needed for the next stage of the company. This role will own and improve core finance processes, identify root causes of operational friction, and partner across Finance and the broader business to make work more efficient, controlled, and insight-driven.
You will play a critical role in transforming finance operations through disciplined process design, clear ownership, thoughtful change management, and practical automation. We are looking for a manager who is energized by solving ambiguous problems, has an appetite for using AI to improve how Finance works, and can turn ideas into durable processes that teams actually adopt.
This role is remote, based out of the United States.

Who You Are
- Own and continuously improve key Finance Operations processes, including process design, documentation, controls, service levels, escalation paths, and performance reporting.
- Lead root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues, establish KPIs, identify trends and risks, and translate findings into corrective actions with measurable follow-through.
- Build scalable operating procedures, playbooks, intake mechanisms, governance routines, and searchable guidance that support consistent execution as the company grows.
- Partner with Finance leadership, technology and systems teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver process improvements, automation, systems implementations, policy rollouts, and broader Finance transformation.
What We Need
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting operations, business operations, process improvement, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
- You have improved end-to-end business processes and understand core finance operations such as procure-to-pay, accounts payable, expense management, purchasing, vendor management, close support, or financial reporting.
- You bring strong analytical, project management, and change management skills, including advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency; experience with ERP, workflow, expense management, or reporting tools is a plus.
- You are a curious, pragmatic, and detail-oriented problem solver with sound judgment around AI, automation, data quality, controls, security, and human oversight, and you can build trust, lead through ambiguity, and coach a team.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
