Field Service Engineer II/III

The role of a Field Service Engineer focuses on managing field service operations, including performing onsite installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment. The position requires leveraging technical expertise to diagnose and resolve moderately complex issues effectively.

Travel Requirements—70%. This role reports in to the Fort Collins, Colorado office when not in the field

Level 2 Estimated annual base pay: $65,000 (minimum) - $85,000 (midpoint) - $104,000 (maximum)

Level 3 Estimated annual base pay:$79,000 (minimum)-$103.999 (midpoint) -$126,000 ( maximum)

Level 2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Field Service Operations: Conduct onsite installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment using current technologies.
  • Diagnose and Resolve Technical Issues: Analyze and solve moderately complex problems by evaluating multiple factors and applying technical expertise.
  • Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and sustain productive working relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide Team Support: Offer informal guidance and support to new team members, enhancing team performance and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to company policies and procedures while accurately documenting service activities and technical solutions.

Level 3:

  • Lead Project Initiatives: Manage small to medium sized projects, coordinating resources and timelines to achieve project goals with minimal risks.
  • Develop and Implement Solutions: Design and execute innovative solutions based on comprehensive analysis of technical challenges and multiple information sources.
  • Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams: Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external experts to facilitate knowledge sharing and drive project success.
  • Mentor and Support Colleagues: Serve as a resource for less experienced team members, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
