KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the development and delivery of insurance products in accordance with the Product Development Process and timelines approved by the Product Steering Committee. This includes supporting end-to-end product development activities, from customer, distributor and competitor insights gathering, product ideation, feasibility assessment, product design, pricing competitiveness evaluation, launch implementation, post-launch monitoring, and enhancement recommendations.

• Conduct market intelligence and proposition research through competitor monitoring, product benchmarking, distributor engagement, and structured feedback sessions to identify market trends, customer needs, business opportunities, and product improvement initiatives.

• Support the timely and accurate implementation of new product launches, including preparation and review of product documentation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stakeholder coordination, and obtaining internal and external approvals.

• Provide ongoing product and proposition support by responding to product-related queries, supporting sales campaigns and initiatives, preparing product-related materials, and ensuring accurate communication to internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Distribution, Actuarial, Operations, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Marketing to ensure effective execution of product initiatives and seamless delivery of customer propositions.

• Support other regulatory, Group, and system-driven projects by coordinating requirements, assessing business impacts, and working with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of product changes and operational enhancements.

• Monitor product performance and portfolio health through regular tracking and analysis of business metrics, customer feedback, market developments, and emerging risks, providing recommendations to enhance product competitiveness and customer value.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related disciplines.

• Preferable 1-3 years working experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the function of product development or product marketing.

• Preferable with insurance product knowledge, with good fundamentals of various product structures.

• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be added advantage.

• Meticulous with the ability to work with agility.
