We are now looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Load & Haul organization in Turku, Finland. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to senior leaders and help them focus on the division’s strategic priorities. You will work closely with the Division Management Team, the Site Management Team and colleagues across the Sandvik organization. The position is located at our Turku site.

Your role

As Executive Assistant, you will be a trusted partner to both Division and Site Management. In this role, you will support senior executives, coordinate key activities and events, and contribute to the division’s internal communications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing proactive support to senior leaders in the Division Management Team, including calendar coordination, scheduling and daily operational assistance

• Organizing Division Management’s international travel and other high-level visits in line with Sandvik policies and practical needs

• Planning and coordinating Division and Site Management meetings, offsites, town halls and webinars

• Aligning schedules and cross-division activities with Executive Assistants across Sandvik divisions

• Coordinating division and site events, such as leadership days or Christmas parties

• Supporting division-level internal communications and maintaining communication channels, including the intranet, for division news and communications in English and Finnish

• Maintaining shared digital leadership workspaces

Your background and what we find important

To succeed in this role, you are proactive, well organized and able to anticipate the needs of senior leaders. You take ownership of your work, pay attention to detail and remain calm and solution-oriented when priorities change.

You communicate clearly and professionally and enjoy collaborating with a diverse international network of colleagues and stakeholders. You are accustomed to managing multiple priorities in parallel and are able to ensure progress with structure, discretion and professionalism.

We expect you to have:

• Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Management Assistant or similar coordination role

• A relevant educational background

• Strong organizational, prioritization and time-management skills

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English

• Ability to support the preparation of clear professional communications and presentation materials

• Strong Microsoft 365 skills and curiosity to learn new digital tools

• The ability to work independently, use sound judgment and handle confidential information appropriately

• A collaborative, flexible and service-minded way of working

Experience in an international organization, internal communications or event and project coordination is considered an advantage.
