We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant with 2–8 years of experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing enterprise resource planning solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP ERP and ERP implementations, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and functional users to deliver successful ERP projects.
You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into ERP solutions, participating in implementation activities, and ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of ERP systems across business functions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in ERP implementation projects from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate ERP solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP ERP modules based on business requirements and organizational processes.
- Assist in defining functional and technical requirements, business process flows, workflows, and system specifications.
- Support data migration, system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and production deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, supply chain, HR, procurement, sales, and IT.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement.
- Troubleshoot ERP-related issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Prepare implementation documentation, configuration documents, test cases, user guides, and process documentation.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end users during and after implementation.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure ERP implementation activities remain on schedule.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and continuous ERP optimization initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
- 2–8 years of professional experience in ERP implementation, consulting, configuration, or support.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP and related implementation activities.
- Good understanding of ERP architecture, business processes, workflows, and enterprise applications.
- Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with end-to-end ERP implementation, including requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Exposure to Oracle ERP or Oracle-based enterprise applications.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics ERP or other Microsoft enterprise solutions.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations with third-party applications, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with ERP upgrades, process re-engineering, automation, and system optimization.
- Relevant SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, or ERP implementation certifications will be an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Relevant ERP certifications or specialized training will be an added advantage.
