Operational Excellence Manager   

The work model for the role is: onsite.

This role is contributing to the ABB Installation Products Caribe LLC, Vega Baja Puerto Rico, ELIP Division.

Your Responsibility:

Maintain and update controlled documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality records, engineering documents, and production forms. Ensure proper version control, approval processes, and secure storage of all controlled documents. Oversee the lifecycle of documents, including document creation, review, distribution, and archiving. Manage physical and digital filing systems, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and procedures. Provide support during internal and external audits, preparing the required documentation and ensuring that the organization is prepared for audits. Work closely with the Quality, Engineering, Human Resources (HR), Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), and Operations teams to ensure documentation is aligned with current processes and standards. Provide guidance and training to employees on document control procedures and the use of the systems.

Generate reports, logs, and dashboards to support key performance indicators (KPIs), compliance tracking, and operational decision-making

Your Background :

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quality, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
• More than 2 years of experience in document control, data management or quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP or QMS systems (SAP, Oracle, SharePoint, Master Control, etc.) highly desirable.
• Knowledge of our manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of computer programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, email, etc., preferably.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with reading and comprehension skills
