We are seeking senior technical leaders in process engineering to join Micron Memory Taiwan. This role reports directly to site senior management or the VP and is open at the Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) or Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) level.

As a senior technical leader, you will drive innovation, lead complex projects, define technical roadmaps, and mentor engineering talent. Your expertise will be critical in developing advanced DRAM process solutions that support yield ramp-up and shape the future of the DRAM industry.

This position is ideal for experienced process engineering professionals motivated by purpose-driven work. You will be part of the OMT (F11+F16) ADT dry etch process engineering team, focusing on technology transfer from R&D, collaborating with Japan (F15) and Central team on yield and quality improvements, and high-volume production enablement. Key responsibilities include:

• Optimizing unit processes and throughput
• Implementing novel process control strategies
• Collaborating with suppliers to achieve benchmark performance
• Prioritizing continuous improvement initiatives
• Driving equipment roadmap alignment

Success in this role requires close collaboration with technology development, procurement, industrial engineering, and capital equipment suppliers. You will also build and lead cross-functional teams that support early product development through to full qualification and ramp-up.

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities for Process Engineering SMTS/DMTS include (but not limited to):

• Own critical taskforce, take ownership of critical initiatives, and leading multi-functional technical team to drive new tech node yield roadmap.  Collaborate closely with process integration, technology development, and local yield teams to improve new technology.   
• Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and career development.
• Foster a new way, seeing opportunities for process improvements that align with innovative product requirements while optimizing costs.
• Develop a fundamental understanding of process engineering and its impact on overall process health.
• Provide engineering support to internal team members and senior leadership.
