Program Summary

Job Summary
Administers production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items.
- Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
- Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in various Ordnance or Ammunition roles performed while assigned to Navy / Marine/Army or Air Force, munitions /ordnance organizations.
- Demonstrate skills and ability to prioritize work
- Capable of obtaining OPNAV/NAVSEA certifications
- Previous assignments and recent work history supporting Navy BOS / Facility Support operations or contracts in austere or remote environments is desired.
- Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a secret clearance
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple interruptions/distractions.
- Willing and able to be licensed for explosive handling or equipment (if applicable)
- Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Process & Service improvement techniques and methodology desired
