About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and fast‑thinking Residential HVAC Dispatcher to serve as the communication hub between our customers and our technicians. Your primary mission is to keep the day flowing, keep the technicians productive, and ensure every customer feels taken care of.
If you excel in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy coordinating moving parts, and can solve problems quickly, this position will be a strong fit.
 

Key Responsibilities

Own the Daily Schedule
•     Assign the right technician to the right job
•     Maintain efficient routing to reduce drive time
•     Balance emergency calls with maintenance visits
•     Adjust the schedule in real time as jobs evolve
Support Technicians in the Field
•     Provide accurate job details before arrival
•     Communicate updates, changes, and customer notes
•     Help prevent unnecessary callbacks
•     Keep technicians moving and productive
Communicate Clearly With Customers
•     Confirm appointments and arrival windows
•     Provide updates when schedules shift
•     Maintain calm, clear, and professional communication
•     Deliver excellent customer service over the phone
Filter and Prioritize Incoming Calls
•     Identify true no‑cool or urgent situations
•     Capture essential job details quickly
•     Recognize opportunities for maintenance, repair, or replacement
Maintain Operational Awareness
•     Track technician locations and job progress
•     Coordinate follow‑ups, parts needs, and rescheduling
•     Ensure no customer or job falls through the cracks
Protect Revenue and Efficiency
•     Reduce wasted time and unnecessary travel
•     Prevent double dispatches
•     Keep the schedule full and productive

Qualifications
•     Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar service industry (preferred)
•     Strong communication and customer service skills
•     Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
•     Familiarity with scheduling or dispatch software
•     Problem‑solving mindset and team‑oriented attitude
