How do you help a global organisation build the AI, Digital & Data capabilities needed to transform the way work gets done?

Unlocking AI is not only about giving people access to new tools. It is about helping them rethink how they work, decide, collaborate and create value. Lead the enterprise-wide development of AI, digital and data capabilities across the LEGO Group, helping colleagues unlock productivity, improve performance and reimagine how work gets done in an AI-enabled world.

Please note: This is a Director level position (people leader). The role can either be based in Billund or Copenhagen.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the LEGO Group’s enterprise-wide AI, digital and data capability strategy, with a particular focus on how AI can unlock productivity, performance, creativity and new ways of working across the organisation.

• Partner with senior leaders across the business to identify the human, behavioural and organisational shifts required to fully leverage AI – beyond individual tools, platforms or one-off training interventions.

• Translate the organisation’s AI ambition into a practical, multi-year capability roadmap that builds confidence, fluency and applied skill across different colleague groups and leadership levels.

• Lead the development of tool-agnostic AI capability approaches that help colleagues understand how to integrate AI into everyday work routines, decision-making, collaboration and problem-solving.

• Shape enterprise-wide approaches to AI literacy, digital fluency and data-driven working, ensuring colleagues are equipped to use emerging technologies responsibly, effectively and with confidence.

• Work alongside Digital Technology, Data, Legal, Ethics, Security and other relevant partners to ensure capability-building efforts are aligned with the LEGO Group’s technology direction, responsible AI principles and broader transformation priorities.

• Integrate AI, digital and data capability priorities into the enterprise One Learning Plan, ensuring these priorities are connected to the broader skills and capability portfolio.

• Design and scale impactful development experiences, experiments and behaviour-change interventions that help teams practise, embed and sustain new AI-enabled ways of working.

• Establish meaningful measures of capability growth and business impact, tracking how AI, digital and data skill development contributes to productivity, adoption, performance and organisational learning.

• Lead and develop a high-performing AI, Digital & Data Skill Development team, building deep capability expertise, strong enterprise partnership and delivery excellence.

Within Global People & Leadership Development (P&LD), this role leads the AI, Digital & Data Skill Development capability domain. You will work across the enterprise to help colleagues and leaders understand what AI means for the way work gets done – and to build the skills, behaviours and routines needed to make AI a meaningful part of everyday work. This role works alongside technology and platform decisions, but is not limited by them: its focus is on the broader human and organisational capability shift required for the LEGO Group to thrive in an AI-enabled future.

Through this work, AI, digital and data capability becomes a strategic lever for transformation – helping the organisation move beyond awareness and tool training towards sustained behaviour change, stronger decision-making and new ways of working.

Do you have what it takes?

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide capability development, digital transformation, AI adoption, data capability, organisational development or future-of-work initiatives in a complex organisation.

• Strong understanding of how AI is reshaping work, productivity, decision-making, collaboration and organisational capability.

• Ability to translate AI and digital transformation ambitions into practical capability strategies, learning experiences and behaviour-change interventions.

• Experience building capability across broad colleague populations, including both leaders and employees, rather than only specialist technical audiences.

• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect technology shifts to human behaviour, organisational routines, culture and performance.

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across business, technology, people, legal, ethics and risk domains.

• Strong understanding of digital fluency, data-driven working and responsible AI adoption in an enterprise context.

• Proven people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing teams with credibility across the business.
