We are also advancing a broad portfolio of early-stage ADCs pursuing undisclosed solid tumor targets.

Position Overview

The Director, Commercial Strategy is responsible for advancing key strategic initiatives across the commercial organization essential to Immunome’s launch of varegacestat and continued growth into a commercial organization.The role will lead varegacestat international commercialization strategy and key strategic initiatives across commercial planning & business management. The role requires strong business acumen, organizational agility, and the ability to navigate uncertainty while executing on core commercial priorities 

Responsibilities

International Commercial Strategy & Partner Management  

  • Develop and maintain the international commercialization roadmap, including market prioritization, business cases, investment requirements, timing, dependencies, risks, and decision points. 
  • Lead the commercial evaluation of distributor, regional partner, and other market-entry options by establishing evaluation criteria, coordinating cross-functional diligence, comparing proposals, and developing recommendations for leadership.  
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Medical, Supply Chain, Market Access, and Commercial stakeholders to translate approved partnerships into practical commercialization plans.  
  • Manage regional partners and overall governance including joint business plans, performance reviews, issue escalation, decision tracking, and follow-through.  
  • Monitor international market and partner performance and, in collaboration with the appropriate functional experts, recommend adjustments to strategy, investment, resourcing, or operating approach.  

Localization & Market Readiness  

  • Lead coordination of market localization and readiness plans, partnering with Brand, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, Supply Chain, and local partners to ensure plans reflect local market dynamics, customer needs, healthcare systems, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Partner with the US Brand team to preserve core brand strategy and positioning while enabling appropriate local-market adaptation.  
  • Drive cross-functional readiness workplans for distributor-led markets, ensuring key dependencies, owners, risks, and decisions are visible and addressed ahead of market milestones.  

Executive, Board & Investor Relations Collaboration  

  • Own the Commercial workstream for selected Leadership Team and Board deliverables, including developing the integrated commercial narrative, coordinating functional inputs, and preparing decision-ready recommendations. 
  • Partner with Market Insights, Forecasting and Analytics, Brand, Sales, Market Access, Competitive Intelligence, Finance, and other SMEs to ensure executive reporting accurately reflects the underlying commercial narrative and clearly communicates implications for leadership.  
  • Partner closely with Investor Relations to translate market context and commercial performance into investor-ready narrative, transcripts, earnings-preparation materials, presentation content, and anticipated Q&A.  
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and relevant Commercial SMEs to ensure external-facing Commercial information is accurate, and internally consistent.  
  • Track key decisions and follow-up actions from executive and Board discussions and work with accountable functional leaders to ensure closure.  

Commercial Planning & Business Management  

  • Lead the annual Commercial operating-planning and budget process, including planning calendar, assumptions, functional inputs, consolidation, scenario development, leadership recommendations, and final documentation. 
  • Partner with Commercial functional leaders and Finance to translate strategic priorities into an integrated investment and resource plan, identifying trade-offs, funding requirements, sequencing, and areas of risk.  
  • Maintain an integrated view of Commercial spending and commitments; lead regular budget reviews with functional owners, identify variances and emerging risks, and develop mitigation or reallocation recommendations.  
  • Coordinate annual and long-range Commercial planning so functional plans, major milestones, resource needs, and cross-functional dependencies are visible in one integrated view.  
  • Lead recurring Commercial business reviews, partnering with functional SMEs to bring together performance, market context, key risks and opportunities, and the actions or decisions required from leadership.  
  • Partner with functional leaders to develop business cases for significant Commercial investments or operating-model changes, integrating strategic rationale, financial implications, execution requirements, and expected impact.  

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred. 
  • 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or equivalent; Oncology experience required.  
  • Launch experience desirable; Global experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%+, including weekend travel. 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional work and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. 
  • Experience with Commercial budgets, business planning, executive decision support, and business-case development strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on working style, sound judgment, discretion, urgency, and reliable follow-through in a fast-paced and evolving environment. 
Washington State Pay Range
$213,910$246,269 USD
