As an Automation Engineer for Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for Results-driven Automation Professional with extensive experience designing, developing, and scaling enterprise automation solutions across global organizations. Expertise in Robotic Process Automation (UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform), Intelligent Document Processing, Process Mining (Celonis), AI-enabled automation, API integration, and digital workforce strategies. Proven track record of leading automation programs, establishing Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks, driving operational efficiencies, and delivering measurable business outcomes through intelligent automation and process transformation initiatives.

• Lead the design, architecture, development, deployment, and support of enterprise-wide automation solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Define automation strategy, standards, governance, and best practices within the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and develop automation roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
• Architect scalable, secure, and resilient automation solutions integrated with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
• Drive intelligent automation initiatives leveraging AI, Machine Learning, Document Understanding, and Conversational AI technologies.
• Lead automation lifecycle management including requirements gathering, process assessment, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Utilize Process Mining tools such as Celonis to identify inefficiencies, optimize business processes, and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Design and implement API-based integrations to improve system interoperability and automation efficiency.
• Manage automation platform upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, governance compliance, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and automation engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Partner with global cross-functional teams to deliver strategic automation initiatives and digital transformation programs.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field.
• 4+ years of experience in Automation, Software Engineering, Digital Transformation, or Intelligent Automation.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong knowledge of automation architecture, governance, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience required in Celonis Process Mining, Process Discovery, Business Process Optimization, Generative AI, Machine Learning Integration, OCR & Intelligent Document Processing, and Conversational AI and Chatbots.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled automation solutions and process mining platforms.
• Proven leadership experience managing automation programs and collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
