We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and manage scalable infrastructure that supports modern cloud-native applications. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to streamline software delivery, improve deployment reliability, and maintain highly available production environments through automation and DevOps best practices.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools, along with a strong passion for improving operational efficiency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Automation
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable production infrastructure.
- Develop self-service tools and automation frameworks to simplify application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Create automation scripts, APIs, and background services to reduce operational overhead.
CI/CD & Release Engineering
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement automated, containerized deployment strategies for faster and more reliable software releases.
- Contribute code, scripts, and test automation to deployment pipelines.
- Continuously improve release processes and deployment reliability.
Cloud & Container Management
- Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker Swarm and/or Kubernetes.
- Monitor cloud resources, optimize infrastructure utilization, and ensure high availability.
- Manage Linux-based production servers and system administration tasks.
Monitoring & Operations
- Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for infrastructure and applications.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or equivalent platforms.
- Participate in production support activities and on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues while driving root cause analysis.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with development teams to improve software delivery workflows and operational excellence.
- Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and technologies to improve automation and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Administration.
- Strong experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with Docker Swarm and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience managing cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Linux system administration and production infrastructure.
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Nagios and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of Java-based application stacks, including Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss.
- Familiarity with Maven, Eclipse, Bitbucket, and modern DevOps workflows.
- Experience supporting highly available, production-grade distributed systems.
- Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
