Overview

This role is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end facility operations for a AtkinsRealis, Safina Towers Bengaluru office, ensuring smooth functioning of workplace infrastructure, maintenance services, vendor management, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Facilities Manager acts as a key stakeholder in maintaining operational excellence, managing budgets, driving preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and employee-friendly work environment.

Your role

• The position has the responsibility to lead Facility Management functions for the respective location appointed.
• Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology, transportation, and other related facilities activities.
• Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, and security and allocate work across company workplaces.
• Ensuring manpower at the site is enabled to face challenges by guiding, grooming, developing, and supporting them as and when required.
• Planning the vendor manpower for the site and ensuring efficient vendor management.
• Helping businesses to relocate/identify new offices and to make decisions about leasing
• Drafting reports and making written recommendations
• Planning and coordinating renovation, refurbishment, and installation projects.
• Conducting snagging / de-snagging of units and common areas with systems and taking handover of the same from the Projects team.
• Reviewing and ensuring data (hard and soft copy) / e-mails/ client files are updated. Coordinate and maintain the as-built drawing and transition documents.
• Conducting daily site rounds to ensure proper maintenance of all structures / building facilities and services are carried out.
• Assisting Head - Workplace in finalizing the annual budget for site operations and formulating strategies for effective management.
• Regular monitoring of the agreed budget and provide updates on spends targets Vs actual to Head – Workplace.
• Handling the customers queries in verbal / written form and ensuring the complaint management process is in place and is followed meticulously.
• To ensure all the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) are being timely carried out. Resolving emergency maintenance matters with stakeholders like building management, local regulatory authorities, and vendors with urgency.
• Maintaining exemplary relationship management with projects, consultants, contractors, govt. authorities, statutory agencies for ease and smooth operations and maintenance of the property.
• Creating and submitting the daily management report (DMR), the monthly management reports (MMR) and other MIS reports as required by the Head of Workplace.
• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
• Plan and carryout events such as annual day, sports day, workshops and visitor events in workplace.
• Manage desk and spaces through technology, plan for businesses to function flexible working and hot desking seamlessly.
• Managing waste disposal systems in compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.

About you

• Any Degree with MBA (Preferable Engineering – Electrical and Electronics)
• Minimum of 10 years + 
• Similar or Manufacturing Industry or ITES Industry
