This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the Krakow Office (Fabryczna Street) a minimum of three days per week.

The Basics:

As a Demo Engineer at Tanium, you will bring our platform to life in pre-sales environments — building and maintaining the demo infrastructure, environments, and tooling that showcase the full breadth of Tanium's capabilities across endpoint management, security, IT operations, and risk and compliance. You'll partner closely with Solution Engineering, Product, and Engineering to ensure every demo is technically sound, compelling, and tailored to the audience in front of it. 

This role sits at the intersection of technology and storytelling. You'll build reusable, modular demo environments that can be rapidly customized by industry, use case, and buyer persona, and you'll keep those environments production-grade and reliable for high-stakes, customer-facing moments. 

What You'll Do:

Demo Platform & Environment Development 

• Build and maintain scalable, reusable demo environments covering endpoint management, security, IT operations, and analytics workflows. 
• Develop modular demo frameworks that can be quickly customized for different industries, verticals, and buyer personas. 
• Ensure demo environments are stable, production-grade, and ready for customer-facing engagements at all times. 

Technical Enablement & Innovation 

• Build integrations, automations, and tooling (e.g., API connectors, scripted workflows, custom apps) to expand demo capabilities. 
• Rapidly operationalize new product releases into demo-ready assets and environments, so the field can showcase the latest capabilities with confidence. 
• Explore and apply modern tooling — including AI-assisted workflows — to improve demo realism, efficiency, and impact. 

Cross-Functional Support 

• Partner with Solution Engineering and Sales to support strategic deals, tailoring demos and POCs to specific customer needs. 
• Work with Enablement to build scalable demo assets, narratives, and technical training materials for GTM teams. 
• Capture feedback from the field and translate it into improvements to demo environments, tooling, and workflows. 
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to flag technical gaps and pre-sales learnings that should inform the roadmap. 
• Collaborate with IT Engineering on security, infrastructure, hosting and design elements and IT on operational support. 

Operational Excellence 

• Monitor and maintain demo environment reliability, troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly to minimize risk in customer-facing moments. 
• Contribute to standards and best practices for demo builds, POCs, and pilots to improve consistency and quality across the team. 

We're Looking For:

• 3–6+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, software engineering, or a related technical role.
• Deep understanding of Tanium's platform and hands-on working experience with it.
• Strong technical foundation, including APIs, integrations, authentication, data systems, virtualization, networking and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar). 
• Experience building or supporting customer-facing technical environments such as demos, POCs, or pilots. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, IT, and GTM teams. 
• A hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. 
• Experience with endpoint management, IT operations, or cybersecurity platforms. 
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or enterprise IT environments. 
• Experience partnering with product or design teams to deliver end-to-end customer experiences. 
• Experience leveraging modern AI tools (e.g., LLMs, scripting agents, automation frameworks) in technical workflows. 
• Background in high-growth SaaS, enterprise security, or IT management companies.
