ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Data Science Intern to join our team and help us build data-driven solutions using statistics, machine learning and modern AI technologies.

You will work on real-world business problems, gaining hands-on experience across the Data Science lifecycle — from data preparation and exploratory analysis, through modelling and evaluation, to deploying and monitoring models in production.

 

THE WORK:  

• Explore, clean and analyze datasets to identify patterns and insights

• Apply statistical and probabilistic methods to real-world problems

• Develop, train and evaluate machine learning and statistical models

• Perform feature engineering and experiment with different modelling approaches

• Work on predictive modelling and time series forecasting problems

• Evaluate model performance and analyze prediction errors

• Support the deployment and monitoring of models in production

• Contribute to experiments with modern AI and Generative AI solutions

• Document your work and communicate findings to the team

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers and business stakeholders

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Active student status and availability of at least 30 hours per week

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field

• Very good understanding of statistics, probability theory, and fundamental machine learning concepts

• Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques

• Programming experience in Python and familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Good command of English and Polish

 

BONUS POINTS IF U HAVE:

• Experience with time series forecasting

• Knowledge of deep learning and neural networks

• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM concepts

• Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

• Experience with LangChain or LangGraph

• Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases or semantic search

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps or model deployment
