Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to coordinating efforts that enhance the platform's efficiency and reliability, contributing to the foundation that supports data-driven decision-making within the organization. Platform Support focuses on maintaining the structural stability, security, and availability of the IDMC environment (including Secure Agents, integrations, and server infrastructure)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data integration and platform performance.
- Support documentation and knowledge sharing to foster team growth and continuity.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the data platform.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- Experience with data integration and data quality management tools.
- Strong understanding of data platform architecture and design principles.
- Ability to work with data modeling concepts and collaborate with architects.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and their implementation.
- Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing data workflows and processes.
- Secure Agent Administration: Experience installing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Informatica Secure Agents, including resolving agent disconnections, resource exhaustion, and memory leaks.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Networking: Solid understanding of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) where agents or data lakes are hosted.
- Platform Patching & Upgrades: Proven ability to apply IDMC platform patches, hotfixes, and version upgrades while executing post-patch stability validation.
- User & Access Management: Hands-on experience with role-based access control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration, and organizational hierarchy management.
- Informatica Data Management Cloud, MDM, CDQ, CDI.

Good-to-Have Skills:
CI/CD & API Automation: Basic knowledge of using REST APIs for IDMC platform automation, Custom Export/Import, and CI/CD pipelines.
Data Governance & Cataloging: Understanding of CDGC (Cloud Data Governance & Catalog) maintenance and resolving metadata scan failures.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
