As a Data Modernization Director, you will lead the transformation of raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Advisory practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You will translate the vision, set the tone, and inspire others to follow, driving business growth and shaping the direction of client engagements. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. You will create a healthy working environment while maximizing client satisfaction, cultivating potential in others, and actively teaming across the PwC Network.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

- Leading the design and development of data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis
- Overseeing the implementation of data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to support client needs
- Utilizing platforms such as Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory to enhance data engineering processes
- Driving business growth by transforming raw data into actionable insights for informed decision-making
- Promoting technological advancements and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together
- Mentoring and guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of data-driven initiatives
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to identify and address data challenges
- Developing innovative solutions and structures to drive thought leadership in data engineering
- Confirming data quality, security, and compliance within analytics frameworks
- Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 15+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating proficiency in data engineering platforms like Apache Hadoop and Databricks
- Utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for data solutions
