Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:

Responsibilities – D365 FO - - - - - - - - Define, design and lead the architecture needed to enable data management capabilities. Execute the design and implement processes, tools and architecture. Define and design import sequence schedules and data projects. Automate export and import of defined data projects between environments with defined data import/export sequence schedules. Troubleshoot issues within the data management area. Act as a leader to support data management questions with other teams. Manual execution of import and export, to and from D365FO when it is needed.

Lead the definition and execution of data strategies for D365 Commerce, including retail stores, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and call centers. Oversee the migration of critical commerce data entities such as products, assortments, pricing, discounts, promotions, customer master data (retail-specific attributes), loyalty programs, POS profile, receipt profiles and store configurations. Design and implement data quality standards and validation rules specifically for retail data within D365 Commerce. Manage data synchronization and integration efforts between D365 Commerce and other external commerce-related systems (e.g., payment gateways). Develop and optimize data import/export routines using D365 Commerce Data Exchange (CDX) and other relevant tools to ensure seamless data flow between head office and retail stores/online channels. Work closely with retail operations and product teams to identify data needs, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure data readiness for go-live and ongoing operations. Implement robust data governance and security measures for sensitive commerce data. Provide expertise in troubleshooting data-related issues specific to D365 Commerce functionalities.

- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering professional development opportunities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices related to data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement data standards and policies.
- Ability to analyze complex data management challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Familiarity with data stewardship concepts and the ability to drive initiatives that promote data accountability.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
