We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team. You will build and support enterprise reporting tools using Oracle Analytics and Budget formulation software. Your work will turn complex Budget, financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. You will bridge the gap between data systems and business leaders to drive smart choices for SMX and our DoW clients.
- Build Reports: Design, test, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and custom Budget formulation and Enterprise Performance Management software applications.
- Manage Data Models and Budget planning applications: Maintain and optimize Budget formulation databases, planning applications, and data pipelines.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Fix data flow errors, performance lags, and reporting discrepancies quickly.
- Partner with Teams: Work with budget formulation and business operations groups to understand their data needs and turn them into technical solutions.
- Ensure Data Quality: Run data validation checks to keep our reporting accurate and trustworthy.
Required Skills & Experience
- Secret clearance
- Excel and O365 Apps savvy
- OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Server dashboard development experience or solid experience with other Data analytics and visualization tools like Qlik
- At least 5 years of Systems development experience using Agile methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management through the systems development requirements lifecycle
- Good presentation and professional writing skills via process mapping and design walk throughs.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Good understanding of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process in either DoW or Federal civilian sectors
