Job Opening: Recruiter

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa (Remote – US Hours)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST

White Billiards is a high-end pool table company operating on a dropship model. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and coachable person to serve as our primary phone contact and office manager. You'll be the first voice customers hear when they call in — guiding them through our table options, helping them place orders, and making sure their pool table arrives exactly when and how they expect.

This is a great fit for someone who's personable and enjoys talking to people, doesn't need prior industry experience, and is excited to learn on the job. No pool or billiards background required — just a willingness to learn our product line and a genuine interest in helping customers find the right fit.

Primary Function

Inbound sales support: answering calls from prospective buyers and guiding them through our product options to a confident purchase decision. Beyond calls, you'll function as an office manager — keeping orders, shipments, and customer follow-ups organized and on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from prospective buyers
• Walk customers through our table models and customization options
• Process and place customer orders
• Track shipping and proactively manage delivery follow-ups
• Handle general customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Keep order and customer records organized (Excel / Google Sheets)
• General office management tasks as needed

Product & Training

• Our catalog includes roughly 15–30 tables with various custom options
• The product line is not overly complex — full training will be provided
• The owner is hands-on, accommodating, and committed to fully training the right candidate

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Comfortable with basic Excel and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
• Prior CRM or Excel experience is a strong plus, but nothing advanced is required
• Personable, chatty, and enthusiastic on the phone
• Strong customer service instincts — patient, helpful, and clear communicator
• Coachable and eager to learn — no prior industry experience needed
• Comfortable multitasking between calls, orders, and shipment tracking

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Interest in outbound sales — light outreach volume (~10 calls/day) may be available
• Additional earning potential: a few hundred dollars extra per month for each sale closed through outbound outreach
• Prior experience in an office manager or administrative support role

• Outbound sales, if pursued, offers meaningful additional upside on top of base pay
