Position: Customer Engineer

Location: Jylland, Denmark

NCR Voyix has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in engineering and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. We are currently recruiting across Denmark. 

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:

• To diagnose and make minor repairs and to replace modules on EPOS, Self-Checkouts, PCs, workstations and peripherals, second line maintenance on ATMs and kiosks. For the right profile we are looking to develop your network and infrastructure skillset.
• Responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to ensure continuity of customer operations and a high levels of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customers satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements
• May require prolonged travel, carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights. May require bending/squatting, walking/standing /sitting for prolonged periods. May be required to work on rotating shifts
• Vehicle/tools/laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided
• The role requires the ability to work on your own with minimal supervisions and to be able to manage your time effectively and pro-actively

Candidates profile and qualifications:

• Full DK driving license
• Training will be provided to the right candidate, but experience is preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair and basic computer hardware and software knowledge
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Experience in PC hardware maintenance
• Basic network skillset
• Works well with minimal supervision, good problem-solving skills, ability to pick up new skills quickly, ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills/customer relationship skills required
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
