As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with team members to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and deliver optimal performance. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development tasks with problem-solving activities to enhance application efficiency and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications and application workflows to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices and development standards.
- Continuously monitor application performance and suggest improvements to optimize functionality and user satisfaction.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Industries Communications Cloud.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Salesforce Omnistudio Platform.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to configure and customize Salesforce applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within Salesforce environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect Salesforce with external systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce Industries Communications Cloud.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
