Job Summary:
The Corporate Pricing Manager is responsible for leading the daily execution of POOLCORP’s pricing operations across all ERP systems. This role manages a team of Pricing Managers to ensure pricing accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. Serving as the key link between pricing analytics and operational execution, the Corporate Pricing Manager translates pricing strategy into actionable priorities, reviews and approves exception and non-standard pricing requests, monitors margin performance, safeguards pricing data integrity, and drives continuous improvements to pricing processes and tools.
Responsibilities:
Manages the daily execution of pricing changes and maintenance across multiple ERP systems (Epicor Prelude); tracks accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established pricing process requirements.
Leads, coaches, and develops a team of Pricing Managers; assigns and prioritizes workload, reviews completed work for accuracy, and provides ongoing training on pricing tools, systems, and policy.
Serves as an escalation point for non-standard, exception, and override pricing requests; reviews and approves requests that fall outside standard pricing guidelines in partnership with branch, regional, and sales leadership.
Owns day-to-day pricing data integrity across ERP and reporting platforms; monitors price overrides and deviations, and drives corrective action when pricing does not align with strategy or policy.
Translates POOLCORPs strategic roadmap into operational execution; supports the design, testing, and rollout of pricing automation, tools, and process improvements.
Monitors margin performance and pricing trends by customer segment and product category; identifies margin expansion opportunities and present findings to the Director of Pricing and cross-functional partners.
Maintains and updates pricing process documentation; leads business process improvement efforts to reduce manual work, reduce errors, and optimize team efficiency.
Partners with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to resolve pricing issues, support price reviews, and provides insight on margin drivers and trends.
Prepares and deliver regular reporting and dashboards (Power BI) summarizing pricing activity, exception volume, and margin performance for leadership review.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, and a minimum of three to five years of related experience in pricing, margin management, or analytics, preferably within wholesale distribution. MBA or master's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related concentration desirable.
One or more years of experience leading, coaching, or supervising a team preferred.
Prior experience with ERP systems (Epicor Prelude, or equivalent) required; proficiency with Power BI and DAX preferred; working knowledge of SQL or Python a plus.
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to build and maintain pricing tools, reports, and analysis.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify pricing and margin improvement opportunities and translate them into recommended actions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train, coach, and influence both team members and cross-functional partners.
