YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As our Corporate Finance Analyst, you will support the Business Operations Manager, the executive team, and the greater organization, using data analysis to make sound recommendations for launching and operating new projects and products. You will execute analyses for key company decisions by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, building models, and developing final recommendations for management.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Build and maintain financial models for business expansion projects (eg: new innovation campuses and product lines)
- Own financial modeling for expansion opportunities: define inputs, test assumptions, and communicate sensitivities in partnership with the Senior Project Manager and Expansion/regional leads as they assess and progress each opportunity
- Develop a deep understanding of every assumption in CIC's financial models and how each input changes the output, and use that understanding to identify opportunities to refine and improve financial models
- Execute analyses for key company decisions by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, building models and developing final recommendations
- Integrate model outputs into decision-ready project recommendations, working with the Senior Project Manager to keep the model connected to real-world deal terms and site realities.
- Thinking strategically about opportunities from a holistic financial perspective. Analyze financial results to identify trends and metrics at both the campus site and company level. You will make recommendations to executive management on strategy and operational roll out.
- Support Quarterly Business Review prep by pulling together financial and operational data, working with respective stakeholders, and helping build out materials for presentation
- Provide broader operational and business support to the group as needed, beyond expansion and portfolio analysis, including a variety of ad hoc financial analysis as needed to support strategic initiatives
- Help maintain and evolve the analytical tools, templates, and models used across the organization
