About The Role

Knight Frank is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate ESG Reporting Manager to support our growing ESG reporting function.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of ESG frameworks, strong data and analytical skills, and the ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders.  You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate and transparent sustainability disclosures that meet evolving regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.

About the Role:

  • As a Corporate ESG Reporting Manager within our Corporate ESG function, you will lead the delivery of high-quality ESG reporting and disclosures for our global real estate professional services business. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely reporting in alignment with both voluntary ESG frameworks and emerging regulatory requirements.

  • You will oversee the coordination of cross-functional data collection, implementation and management of corporate ESG data systems, and support the integration of climate strategy and carbon reduction targets into our internal reports and disclosures. You’ll also line manage a team member supporting their development and ensuring effective day-to-day support across reporting workstreams.

  • You will be responsible for developing and delivering our regulatory and voluntary ESG reporting programme, ensuring compliance with mandatory disclosure requirements while effectively communicating ESG performance, priorities and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and global business to collect data and gather information on ESG-related topics, supporting UK reporting requirements and providing governance and oversight of non-UK data inputs for global reporting and disclosures.

  • In addition, the role will support the development of our global net zero strategy, aligned with science-based targets, and lead its execution where required. You will provide analytical insight to drive performance and ensure our climate ambitions are embedded across reporting and strategic initiatives.

  • This is a hands-on and strategic position suited to a sustainability professional with 5–7 years of experience and a strong understanding of the ESG landscape, ideally within the built environment or professional services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of corporate ESG disclosures across a range of voluntary and mandatory frameworks

  • Leading the development, delivery and continuous improvement of Knight Frank's corporate ESG disclosures across a range of voluntary and mandatory reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD, ISSB/IFRS, CSRD, SECR), ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements while effectively communicating ESG performance and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Overseeing the development and rollout of ESG data management systems, working closely with internal IT and other inhouse partners to ensure systems are fit-for-purpose and scalable

  • Working with stakeholders across the UK and global business to coordinate ESG data collection, validate information and ensure robust governance, consistency and quality of reporting inputs across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Advising on carbon management and emissions reduction in order to embed climate and carbon performance tracking into regular ESG reporting processes, ensuring alignment with our net-zero and carbon reduction goals

  • Supporting the production of external-facing materials such as our Annual ESG/Sustainability Report, climate disclosures, and other stakeholder communications

  • Staying abreast of ESG regulations and real estate market expectations to advise the business on disclosure readiness and reporting improvements

  • Acting as the main point of contact for external ESG raters and disclosure platforms (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis, Sustainalytics) and coordinating third-party data assurance as required

  • Line managing one ESG team member, providing day-to-day guidance, performance development, and oversight of their contribution to reporting and project delivery

  • Contributing to internal ESG communications and training to improve awareness of data requirements, progress against targets, and reporting outcomes

  • What experience you will need:

  • 5–7 years of experience in ESG reporting or sustainability roles, ideally within a professional services or real estate organisation

  • Broad understanding of ESG-related issues and their relevance to a global real estate and professional services business, including climate change, energy and carbon management, biodiversity, social impact, diversity and inclusion, governance, responsible business practices and emerging sustainability trends.

  • Proven experience managing ESG disclosures aligned to key voluntary and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, SECR)

  • Strong working knowledge of carbon and energy management, alongside climate reporting, including Scope 1–3 emissions, net-zero strategies, and alignment with the GHG Protocol and SBTi

  • Experience with implementing or managing ESG data platforms or digital reporting systems (e.g., Sphera, Microsoft Sustainability Manager)

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex workflows across multiple teams and regions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and presenting ESG data clearly to non-experts

  • Demonstrated experience in people management or mentoring, with the ability to lead and support a junior team member

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI); experience working with data assurance providers is an advantage

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or ESG certification (e.g., GRI Certified, FSA Credential, CFA ESG) preferred
