We’re looking for a highly organised, tech-savvy Construction Operations & Project Support
Specialist to join a small, high-performing residential construction company specialising in
high-end custom homes and renovations.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the owners across the full business lifecycle — from
sales and pre-construction through to production, project administration and business operations.
The ideal candidate will be a true all-rounder: someone who is confident working with data,
systems, spreadsheets and project management processes, has excellent attention to detail,
and can take ownership of tasks without needing constant direction.
Experience within residential construction would be highly advantageous, but strong project
management, operations or construction administration experience from another environment
will also be considered.

What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will span a wide range of operational and administrative activities,
including:
● Supporting the sales and marketing process, including preparing and updating sales
proposals and presentations.
● Assisting with pre-construction activities such as estimating, scope development and
project documentation.
● Supporting projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial estimating through to
completion.
● Maintaining and improving project data, templates, spreadsheets, documents and
reporting systems.
● Helping organise and manage a large Google Drive environment across areas such as
sales, estimating, financials, HR and insurance.
● Working within JobTread, the company's construction management platform, to support
estimating, scheduling, budgets, tasks and project administration.
● Improving and developing templates for different project types, including new builds and
renovations.
● Supporting financial tracking, reporting and spreadsheet management.
● Helping make company data more digestible, structured and useful for decision-making.
● Supporting the owners with operational priorities and helping ensure important tasks
don't get missed.
● Potentially assisting with supplier coordination, material orders and scheduling as the
role develops.
● Supporting social media activity, including helping create approximately two
construction-focused posts per week.
● Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, systems and processes across the
business.
● Using AI tools to improve efficiency, automate processes and get more value from
existing systems.

● Experience in residential construction, construction administration, project
coordination or a closely related environment.
● Strong project management and organisational skills.
● Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
● Confidence working with data, templates, reports and interconnected spreadsheets.
● Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
● Experience with construction/project management software would be a major advantage.
● A strong understanding of project workflows, construction sequencing or construction
management processes.
● Excellent written communication skills.
● Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to getting things done.
● A genuine interest in AI and technology, with the ability to identify practical ways AI can
improve business processes.
● The ability to work independently and self-manage effectively in a remote environment.
