Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is seeking a Construction Information Associate in our Southern & Central region that will be responsible for driving the acquisition, analysis, and validation of commercial construction project intelligence through strategic engagement with industry stakeholders, including contractors, construction managers, owners, architects, and public agencies. This role applies industry expertise, critical thinking, and independent judgment to identify, evaluate, and translate non-public project information into actionable insights that support and enhance the organization’s data products. Success in this role requires the ability to influence participation, assess information quality and relevance, and manage ongoing industry relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-value intelligence that is not available through public sources alone.
This full-time position reports to theManager, Construction Information.
Preferred Location
This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates must be located in one of the following states: NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN, LA, AR, OH, or IN.
Travel Requirements
Expected travel is up to 10% for this role.
Essential Functions
- Drive strategic outreach initiatives to contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, and public agencies to cultivate participation in the Dodge Construction Network and obtain high-value non-public project intelligence that enhances the organization's data assets
- Communicate the value of Dodge and project information sharing to potential sources throughout outreach efforts
- Support demonstrations of Dodge tools and data capabilities to sources, reinforcing the value of participation and encouraging data sharing
- Establish and manage ongoing relationships with industry participants, exercising judgment in prioritizing sources and engagement strategies to ensure a consistent and reliable flow of relevant project information
- Develop and expand project sources within assigned territory, identifying and pursuing new sources of information to support business growth and data coverage objectives
- Manage a pipeline of active projects within assigned territory, continuing to secure new active projects alongside existing coverage
- Incorporate managerial guidance on coverage gaps, emerging prospects, and inconsistent or inaccurate information to continually refine sourcing strategy
- Analyze and interpret construction documents, client communications, and project information, applying industry knowledge and critical thinking to determine relevance, accuracy, and business value, and translating insights into actionable data within Dodge systems
- Leverage internal tools and systems to manage and maintain project data, making informed decisions on data entry, classification, and updates to ensure alignment with business standards and customer needs
- Investigate and resolve complex data discrepancies, utilizing multiple sources, including direct industry contacts, to validate information, determine appropriate reporting and ensure data integrity. Maintain clear documentation of verification steps
- Identify patterns and root causes of data quality issues, implementing solutions and communicating insights to stakeholders to improve overall data accuracy and operational effectiveness
- Share feedback on source behavior, project trends, and workflow challenges to support team process improvements
- Exercise accountability for achieving defined performance outcomes, balancing productivity, quality, and strategic priorities in a metrics-driven environment
- Respond to customer inquiries related to owned relationships, partnering with Account Management and Customer Success teams as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement of team practices, developing and sharing effective outreach strategies and data collection methods to enhance team performance and consistency
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field; Or equivalent professional experiencedemonstrating proficiency in outreach, data collection, and commercial construction industry knowledge.
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in roles involving outreach, research, customer engagement, or data operations, with demonstrated ability to assess information, prioritize efforts, and drive outcomes
- 3+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry, with a strong understanding of the construction ecosystem (contractors, owners, architects, subcontractors, and project lifecycle) and the ability to evaluate project information within a business context
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify patterns and trends, and proactively diagnose issues and recommend solutions
- Ability to analyze source funnel and conversion rates to evaluate outreach performance and present findings to leadership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence participation, gather nuanced information, and adapt messaging based on audience and objectives
- Ability to clearly and consistently communicate the value proposition for why sources should share project data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), along with the ability to learn and apply Dodge tools and systems to support data integrity and business needs
- Ability to learn and navigate Dodge tools and platforms to guide sources through product walkthroughs, including via screen-share, to support data sharing
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
Preferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with construction project data, plan rooms, or bid management platforms, with the ability to interpret and apply information to support data accuracy and completeness
- Working familiarity with the assigned local or regional market, including common contractors, architects, and public agencies
- Understanding of commercial construction project phases, bid processes, and industry terminology, with the ability to translate complex information into structured, usable data
- Experience working within a performance-driven environment, with accountability for quality and productivity outcomes and the ability to balance competing priorities

Salary Disclosure
Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped variable incentive plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
