CNC Structural Steel Machine Operator

Starting Pay: $20/hour, with higher pay available based on experience
Position Overview
Seeking a CNC machine operator with structural steel fabrication experience to produce accurate steel components. The ideal candidate is comfortable working from blueprints, operating CNC equipment, and using hand and power tools in a production environment.
What You'll Do
Set up and operate CNC equipment, including combination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to produce structural steel components accurately.
Adjust machine settings for proper performance and production accuracy.
Use hand and power tools for machining and assembly work.
Inspect completed components for quality and compliance with design specifications.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic machine maintenance.
Enter production information and maintain records in Global Shop (ERP system).
Work with the team to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.
Requirements
Structural steel fabrication experience is required.
Experience operating CNC equipment, including combination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Strong computer skills; Global Shop or similar ERP experience preferred.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently.
