Job Summary
Provides personal hygiene services, assists with ambulation and exercises as defined by therapist and simple household services essential to maintain the health and well-being of the patient. Assists with medications that are normally self-administered. Reports changes in the patient's condition and needs to supervising RN.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Non Degree Program in Completion of Home Health Aide training program (Required)

Work Experience
1 - 2 years Institutional health care setting assisting patients with ADL's (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Conforms to required style and format.

TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT USE:
Demonstrates technical skill in using equipment appropriate for role.
Understands equipment operation.
Maintains equipment in working order.
Troubleshoots equipment problems.
Uses technology to increase productivity.
Adapts to new technology

For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
