Accenture Federal Services is searching for a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to be responsible for fulfilling Tier 1-3 Tenant requests to include monitoring operational environments, provisioning Tenant VPCs, configuring roles, addressing tenant access requests, and escalating service requests as required.
Responsibilities
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology related area of study and 3 years of experience implementing security principles and administering IT systems or 6 years of experience with any of the following technologies:
- Experience administrating cloud environments
- Experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems, including monitoring network availability and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability and network security measures
- Experience with scripting languages including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
- Experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, containers
- Experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory
- Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using automation and tools such as terraform
- Experience with Platform as a Service Technology to include Kubernetes
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as necessary.
- Security+ certification
Nice to have:
- Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as an AWS certification within 30 days of starting
Clearance
- An active TS/SCI is required to start
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
