Position Summary

The Project Manager, Client Services serves as a leader and trusted advisor, managing assigned client relationships through effective project management, coordination, execution, and advisory support on compliance-related matters.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated team leadership and professional experience in the electronic discovery industry, dispute support, and/or compliance services, with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary liaison for key client representatives, taking ownership of the overall service delivery relationship.

• Drives overall client satisfaction through effective coordination and communication of project deliverables.

• Provides guidance on project-related and technical matters to both clients and internal stakeholders.

• Effectively manages project forecasts and internal work schedules.

• Ensures client and project requirements are met with the highest level of quality and accuracy by validating deliverables and maintaining regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Provides proactive and consistent communication with clients. Addresses client issues promptly or escalates them to the appropriate internal personnel when necessary.

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records on the status of all assigned projects.

• Demonstrates leadership with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are delivered professionally and to a high standard of quality.

• Builds client confidence and serves as a key representative of the company's commitment to high-quality service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Bachelor's degree required. A postgraduate degree is preferred.

• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas: consulting, risk advisory, compliance, dispute support, legal technology, forensic technology, consulting firms, eDiscovery service providers, or internal or external legal counsel.

• Relativity certification is preferred (such as RCA – Relativity Certified Administrator). Candidates who are not currently certified must be willing to actively pursue Relativity certification after joining.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience and a solid understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including its processes, tasks, and value in risk advisory, dispute/litigation support, compliance, regulatory inquiries, and in-house legal functions.

• Ability to travel on short notice and, when required by project needs, work at or visit client locations across different cities for varying durations.

• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to demonstrate confident and professional leadership.

• Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to proactively manage expectations, understand client needs, and align company capabilities to meet client requirements.

• Solid understanding of database design and management, data processing activities, and legal document review requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to:

  • Manage all phases of a project from initial planning through final production.

  • Develop and execute effective project plans.

  • Balance client requirements with project objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Review financial and billing information accurately and in a timely manner to ensure project deadlines are consistently met.
