Broker Contract Specialist

Shift: Monday- Friday

Location: Hybrid 1: You must reside within a 50 mile proximity to our Tampa, FL office: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

The Broker Contract Specialist will be responsible for conducting broker background checks, analyzing results to determine qualifications of potential brokers, interpreting and accurately applying state laws for licensing/appointing brokers, , and establishing and reconciling required broker appointments with the DOI.

How you will make an impact:

• Audits and reconciles agent appointment renewals

• Conducts background checks and handles complex inquiries and compliance issues on agent/rep licensing

• Processes terminations and tracks continuing education requirements for agents/reps

• Generates reports for internal and external distribution

• Participates on project teams for ongoing system enhancement projects

• Maintains broker commission, broker bonus and levels to ensure accurate payouts

• Conducts audits, interprets and implements new regulations, and participates in audits, DOI exams

• Documents procedures and trains sales and other associates

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• BA/BS preferred

• Insurance license may be required

• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary
