Meaningful Work From Day One

Reporting to Marketing Manager, Brand Manager will manage the development, implementation and achievement of business objectives and marketing plans for Brown-Forman brands in consultation with the Marketing Manager as well as internal stakeholders and external partners.

What You Can Expect

Brand Management & Planning

• Develop the overall strategy for Jack Deniel, Benriach and Glenglassaugh in consultation with the Marketing Manager.

• Contribute to prepare the annual Marketing plans for the responsible portfolios, collaborating with the Sales team.

• Lead and implement marketing activities in line with annual marketing plan by translating the long term strategies into the short term, tactical plans and activities with and to deliver fiscal year objectives along with the budget needed for implementation.

• Lead the briefing, development and approval process for any local creative or global creative adaptation.

• Lead the implementation for new product development (NPD) to the market.

• Manage the Brand P&L’s investment lines (tracking A&P based on budget guideline) with maximizing efficiency.  

• Timely monitor competitor activities and pricing

Leadership & Communication

• Collaborate with the trade marketing and Sales team in Taiwan to ensure the Marketing plans are appropriate and adaptable to different channels and account segments.

• Manage the Marketing agency partners to ensure that briefings and deliverables are meeting the company’s objectives.

• Liaise with agency partners in the design and production of marketing communications materials, including digital, main communication and related materials.

• Provide ad hoc support on special projects as needed.

Strategy & Insights

• Seek, monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities and build strong consumer/category/trade insights that underpin brand strategies.

• Leverage key processes, frameworks and resources to understand customer, consumer, channel, campaign insights for more informed decision making & planning.

• Implement new processes and learnings as training opportunities provide.

What You Bring to the Table

• Education: High School/GED/Secondary School; College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);

• Experience: Min. 5 years of experience in Marketing Min.

• 3 years of brand marketing experience

• Proven track record of successfully delivering brand growth in a highly competitive environment

• Strong computer skills with current, or the ability to quickly build, proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills

• Excellent command of English and Taiwanese.
