Bilingual Operations Analyst

Marsh | Bogotá, Colombia | Full-time | Hybrid
 

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bogotá, Colombia. This is a full-time hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
 

In this role, you will support clients in Puerto Rico and work through a workflow system that generates and assigns tasks based on request type. You will coordinate with insurers via email, verify deliveries, and follow up with clients to ensure timely completion and resolution of any issues. The work schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Colombia time), aligned to Puerto Rico business hours.
 

We will count on you to:

• Manage assigned tasks through the workflow tool, prioritizing and tracking requests based on type and turnaround times.

• Communicate with insurance carriers via email to request updates, confirm deliverables, and resolve pending items.

• Verify deliveries and documentation with carriers to ensure completeness and accuracy.

• Follow up directly with clients in Puerto Rico on delivery status and any issues, escalating as needed.

• Maintain clear tracking and organization of cases to ensure timely execution and smooth handoffs.

• Support basic reporting and data tracking using Excel; Power BI is a plus.
   

What you need to have:

• Completed or near-completion degree in Finance or a related field or a technical degree with relevant experience (e.g., US-focused BPO, banking, credit cards, or exposure to US insurance-related processes). Insurance knowledge is not required.

• 1–2 years of experience in the areas listed above; recent graduates with strong fit will be considered.

• Advanced English and fluent Spanish (interviews will be conducted in English; English proficiency is a key requirement).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel.
   

What makes you stand out:

• Prior exposure to US insurance processes (not required).

• Experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI. (PLUS)

• Strong multitasking ability, organization, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment without getting overwhelmed.
