Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. 

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Associate Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to Production Manger, the Associate Production Supervisor role will be in charge of directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals. 

What a typical day looks like:

• Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the lines success. 
• Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality. 
• Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements. 
• Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability. 
• Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.  
• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams. 
• May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.  
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators. 
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements. 
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects. 
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses. 
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• Basic English preferred
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor.
•  Experience performing and overseeing basic and critical repair operations.
• Experience working with SRT Saw machines.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams of 20–25 employees.
• Control and management of Work-in-Process (WIP).
• Follow-up and tracking of Work Orders (WO).
• Monitoring and traceability of serial numbers.
• Experience with hour-by-hour production tracking and reporting.
• Ensure achievement of: production goals, quality standards & on-time delivery commitments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience implementing and maintaining 5S practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
