The Global Intelligence Organization:

As part of this group, our dedicated team of equity plan specialists in Global Intelligence partner with law firms across the world to deliver a cost effective employee equity plan compliance management service for global private and public companies, ensuring clients have the information they need to successfully operate their plans. Our Global Intelligence platform provides direct support and expertise including tax and legal information, tax guides, project management tools and additional resources for over 150 jurisdictions. Our tax withholding product for non-mobile, mobile and 3rd party tax calculations within equity administration platforms enables clients to apply the required rates and withholding positions and provides visibility and clarity to participants on how and why tax is applied to equity compensation.

Associate, Global Intelligence Role:

Located in Calgary, Alberta and reporting into our client service team, the Associate, Global Intelligence role leads in delivering and embedding Global Intelligence products and services to our current and newly implemented clients. The role focuses on increasing adoption of the platform amongst established clients, assisting clients to better understand and use the platform, resolving queries, identifying opportunities to improve the client experience and supporting initiatives that drive greater engagement, usage, and long-term satisfaction.

Over time, the role will lead to development into a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance and global tax for global share plans and an expert in the Global Intelligence platform and Equity Solutions tax tools.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to monitor client needs, provide timely and accurate support, contribute to adoption-focused campaigns, and help develop materials, insights, and process improvements that encourage clients to derive greater value from the platform.

Our ideal candidate is technically savvy, with strong communication and client relationship management skills. You are passionate about delivering excellent client service and bring knowledge of employee equity plans, global regulatory requirements, and tax compliance. You are committed to team success, comfortable adapting to continuous change and evolving technology solutions, and motivated to take ownership of your responsibilities. You also have a demonstrated ability to build effective, trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Associate Responsibilities:

  • Responding to client queries relating to the Global Intelligence platform and service, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Achieving an expert understanding of the Global Intelligence platform and ultimately the Shareworks tax tool functionality to support clients' share plan compliance.
  • Supporting initiatives designed to increase client engagement, adoption, and ongoing usage of the platform.
  • Assist with special projects, including client outreach, usage analysis, process enhancements, and adoption campaigns.
  • Help create or maintain client-facing and internal support materials, FAQs, and guidance documents.
  • Collaborating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of tax and legal regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to a high-quality client experience that supports retention and long-term relationship growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Equity plan management/administration experience desirable.
  • Strong client service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain information clearly and confidently to a range of audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working with data, platforms, reporting tools, or information-based products.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams.
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Practical experience, preferably in equity compensation, equity plan management, global regulatory advisory, financial services, or tax industry.
  • Comfortable delivering effective presentations to a variety of audiences at all levels across different media and deploying differing styles.
  • Demonstrated competency with common technology and technical concepts, including: Software as a Service (SaaS), Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Shareworks and/or EEO is an asset.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar area of focus
