The Four Seasons Resort Maldives is currently looking for an Assistant Manager - Security who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating memorable guest experiences. Assistant Manager - Security is part of a diverse and dynamic team which provides award winning service to our valued guests. This position reports to the Regional Director of Security and Safety.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort.

Special Requirements

• Has 3-4 years of relevant experience in 5* resorts
• Holds Motor Boat Driving Licence, Driving Licence
• Possesses aptitude, management skills and upward mobility
• Possesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilities
• Possesses business acumen, well developed guest PR skills and personal flair
• Ability to draft and present a comprehensive report
• Working knowledge MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Prior experience in CPR, First Aid Fire Fighting and Crowd Management
• Experience in Live Saving and property protection procedures desirable

Departmental

• Oversees day to day operation of the Security department and related third party services; directs security team  in day to day operation Implements and ensures adherence to security
• Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIPs and return guests; provides meet and greet service at Sea plane platform and Main jetty.
• Is knowledgeable about all kinds of Crisis Management procedures and Fire Evacuation Procedures Is able to handle medical emergencies - guests and staff Is thorough in  maintaining and actioning Lost and Found items
• Assist Regional Director of Security to take appropriate actions when confronted with disturbances, crimes and threats to life and proper
• Remain under control in face of stressful situations, while complying with the Company’s and Local policies and procedures
• Assist Department Head to implement all policies and procedures regarding security and safety. Assist Department Head to design and implement preventive safety and security programs
• Actively anticipate and Prevent situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the resort.
• Assist Resort staff in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety
• Discipline and direct security personnel in all aspects of security policies and procedures.   

Departmental

• Routinely conducts standard testing during shifts
• Assists other departments as required in resolving problems and crunch assistance Is able to administer First Aid and CPR as needed.
• Maintains stock levels of operational supplies
• Assist Department Head to prepare and formulate a fire and evacuation emergency procedure for the Resort and organizing regular drills in order to ensure that all persons employed in or using the resort are familiar with all means of escape in case of fire, flood or evacuation.
• Conduct weekly Fire fighting Training and drills for fire fighting team staff and fire warden’s refreshers course.
• Exercising supervision over the maintenance of all fire safety measures within the resort
• Attend daily Morning Meetings and weekly operational Meetings in absence of Director of Security.
• Train, test and issue Buggy license to employees.
• Take responsibility for all training related to the resorts emergency procedures, and conduct regular Fire Drills and evacuation drills for all the according to legal requirements.
• Assist Department Head in the development and implementation of the Resort's fire plan. In addition, testing the Resort’s Fire and Emergency Response preparedness.
• Adhere to corporate practices like departmental meetings, discipline, appraisals and follow with probationary reviews.
• Monitor the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
