We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. At our award‑winning academies, you won’t just learn the basics - you’ll develop the skills, qualifications, and practical experience to thrive. You’ll train on energy‑efficient gas heating systems and gain specialist expertise in installing air source heat pumps, giving you the tools to build a long‑term, future‑focused career. With guidance from experienced engineers, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you build capability and confidence.

This is a role where you’ll make a real impact. You’ll be out in the community, solving challenges, meeting customers, and helping homes become more sustainable. No two days look the same - one day you’re installing a new system, the next you’re helping someone understand how to reduce their energy use and cut their carbon footprint.

Here's what we’re looking for: 

• Use your CV to tell us who you are and show us why you're a great match for this opportunity 🤝

• 4 GCSEs (or Scottish Nat 5's) at grade C/4 or above, ideally including Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.

• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

• Availability to attend training at our UK-wide academies, with provided accommodation and travel if needed.

• This is a physical role involving lifting, bending and working at height and in confined spaces, including handling heavy equipment such as boilers and radiators.

Here’s what's in it for you: 

• A starting salary of £19,307 which will continue to rise as you hit specific milestones during your apprenticeship.

• Once you have completed the full programme and aftercare support your salary will increase to £45,806 with bonus and add ons on top.

• We also offer London Weighting Allowance ranging from £4,327 to £6,490 (dependant on location) for living or starting your day within London.

• An expensed electric van for you to use for work, including an EV charge point where applicable & charge card.
