Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system performance and reliability through innovative problem-solving.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on issue resolution and project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with integration and middleware technologies related to IBM Sterling Commerce.
- Capability to document technical procedures and maintain knowledge bases for ongoing support.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
