The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced APL / ASL Manager, Journeyman to support supply chain readiness and inventory management operations across the Indo-Pacific. The APL / ASL Manager, Journeyman serves as CACI's logistics management professional responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing Authorized Prescribed Loads (APLs) and Authorized Stockage Lists (ASLs) that support logistics, mission support, facilities, sustainment, contingency operations, and operational readiness. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Management Lead, this position ensures critical repair parts, consumables, and operational supplies are properly planned, stocked, and positioned to support distributed and contested logistics operations.

The APL / ASL Manager works closely with Government stakeholders, supply managers, maintenance personnel, inventory specialists, procurement teams, warehouse managers, transportation coordinators, logistics planners, Service Components, coalition partners, and mission partners to establish stockage objectives, optimize inventory levels, monitor demand trends, and maintain supply availability throughout geographically dispersed operations. This position contributes to successful program execution by improving supply responsiveness, reducing logistics risk, and ensuring mission-critical materiel is available when and where required throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain Authorized Prescribed Loads (APLs) and Authorized Stockage Lists (ASLs) supporting Government logistics operations.

  • Analyze demand history, operational requirements, maintenance trends, and consumption data to establish and adjust stockage levels.

  • Coordinate inventory planning activities supporting warehouses, Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs), Intermediate Staging Bases (ISBs), and forward operating locations.

  • Monitor inventory availability, reorder points, stockage objectives, and supply readiness while recommending inventory adjustments.

  • Coordinate procurement, replenishment, redistribution, and disposition activities to maintain authorized inventory levels.

  • Work closely with maintenance personnel to ensure repair parts availability supports operational readiness objectives.

  • Conduct inventory analyses to identify excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and critical shortage items while recommending corrective actions.

  • Support contingency planning by developing surge stockage strategies and forward positioning plans for mission-essential supplies.

  • Prepare inventory reports, readiness assessments, supply performance metrics, and executive-level briefings for Government leadership.

  • Ensure inventory records, supply documentation, and asset accountability remain accurate and compliant with Government regulations.

  • Coordinate with transportation, procurement, warehouse, and distribution personnel to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.

  • Support inventory audits, physical inventories, reconciliations, and quality assurance reviews.

  • Maintain APL/ASL documentation, standard operating procedures, and supply planning records.

  • Promote inventory optimization, supply chain resilience, and continuous process improvement across logistics operations.

  • Support distributed and contested logistics operations requiring adaptive supply planning and rapid inventory adjustments.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting supply chain management, inventory management, warehouse operations, maintenance logistics, supply planning, or logistics management for Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience managing inventory levels, prescribed loads, stockage objectives, or repair parts supporting operational readiness.

  • Experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory accountability, supply planning, or theater sustainment activities.

  • Experience preparing inventory reports, supply analyses, readiness assessments, and logistics documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate inventory management activities across multiple organizations while supporting operational timelines.

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Military Science, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCPAC, Geographic Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), or Service Component logistics organizations.

  • Experience supporting Indo-Pacific operations, contested logistics, expeditionary sustainment, theater distribution, or multinational logistics operations.

  • Experience utilizing GCSS-Army, GCSS-MC, DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS), Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, SmarTrack, TAPID, ATLAS, and enterprise inventory management and asset visibility systems.

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense supply regulations, inventory management principles, demand forecasting, repair parts management, warehouse operations, and asset accountability procedures.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or equivalent logistics and supply chain certifications are preferred.

  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed Government programs involving OCONUS operations, Special Operations Forces, Joint logistics, and enterprise inventory management throughout the Indo-Pacific is highly desirable.
