The Career Conversion Program (CCP) training period lasts for 15 months. Structured on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided and conducted at the participating companies to facilitate the application of learning and to ensure that individuals acquire necessary competencies to perform at their job.
This is a fully site‑based role at Science Park Facility. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:
Perform hands-on laboratory work for small scale downstream purification of biologics (primarily antibodies) following protocols and working to GMP standards.
Follow work procedures to set up and operate column & membrane chromatography (using AKTA chromatography systems), ultrafiltration and dead-end filtration systems.
Contribute to customer projects by generating scientific data from experimental work.
Record and review raw data to produce good quality process knowledge and data sets suitable for inspection by regulatory agencies.
Deliver high quality communication (written reports, teleconferences, face-to-face meetings) to ensure an outstanding customer (both internal and external) experience.
Working as part of a site and global project team, co-ordinate multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of project workstages.
Facilitate communication between other departments in Singapore and across the global Lonza network.
What we're looking for:
Degree in a relevant Science field or equivalent
Individual without prior working experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry may also apply
Understanding of the application of mammalian cell culture for the production of biopharmaceuticals
Understanding of cGMP regulations
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
