AML Associate ( Customer Service Executive)
Location : Nadi, Fiji
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented associate to join our InvestNow team in New Zealand.
This role is primarily responsible for delivering superior first line Anti–money laundering (AML) compliance and basic customer service duties. This role provides an excellent entry point into AML compliance while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence.
What you will be doing:
Monitor customer transactions and account activity to identify unusual or potentially suspicious behaviour.
Review and investigate AML alerts in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory obligations.
Conduct ongoing customer due diligence reviews, including customer identification verification and risk assessment updates.
Request, review, and assess customer documentation to support AML and CDD requirements.
Maintain accurate and complete customer records within relevant systems.
Identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crime risks and escalate concerns appropriately.
Review and process new account applications in a timely manner.
Request and review additional customer information where required.
Maintain accurate and complete customer records within relevant systems.
Identify and escalate potential high risk accounts appropriately.
Assist the General Manager and other members of the InvestNow team with ad- hoc tasks over time.
Skills Required:
Some experience in the financial services industry.
Experience working in AML compliance, particularly transaction monitoring and/or customer due diligence.
Excellent communicator and extremely well organized.
Competent with tools such as, or similar to, Excel, Trello, Intercom etc.
A focus for accuracy and attention to detail.
Someone who takes ownership and demonstrates accountability.
Demonstrate ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks within required timeframes.
A passion for excellence in your work, exceeding expectations.
