UNIRISC is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Oviedo, FL!
The Administrative Assistant supports the Claims Department by performing clerical and administrative functions that ensure the efficient processing and management of household goods claims. This role manages claim-related communications, opens and maintains electronic claim files, processes billing activities, prepares reports, and updates vendor and carrier records. The Administrative Assistant also provides backup support for key departmental functions, including wire order administration and phone coverage, while maintaining accurate records and delivering timely, professional service.
How You Will Contribute:
Manage the primary claims email box
Open electronic folders and distribution for new claims
Open claims in Insure system
Process subrogation, deductible, and special billings
Complete monthly subrogation reports to various clients and carriers
Add vendors and carriers to existing databases
Backup for wire order Administrative Assistant
Backup for main phones.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
High School Diploma or higher education
Minimum 1 year of general office experience
Minimum one year of computer experience
Basic knowledge of computer software
Ability to work on several tasks concurrently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong data entry skills
Strong communications skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform tasks with appropriate speed and accuracy
Assist with colleagues work during absences and time out of the office
